Kareer Space Kareer Space immediately asking for $700 for job training on first call Apex North Carolina
I am currently in the middle of a job search and received a call from Kareer Space with a so called job opportunity.
The job sounded legitimate until I was asked to pay $700 to complete online training prior to starting the job with the caveat that I would be reimbursed on my first pay check.
The second phone call I received I was immediately handed over to another person who was asking for my credit card number. When I said I was uncomfortable with paying $700 in training for a position without a contract the caller became irritated and passed my call back over to the original caller. At this point I ended the call.
I do not believe any job opportunity would ask you to pay $700 before a first interview and strongly feel like this is a scam preying on users who register their resume on job search websites.
