I purchased furniture from Karen's Furniture in May of 2003. I purchased a living room set and a bedroom set. The sofa fabric ripped when it was about 6 months old. I have had numerous problems with my bedroom set and Karen's refuses to make good on this. The finish is rubbing off my dresser.

I also made a complaint approximately 11 1/2 months after I purchased the furniture regarding my dresser, my dresser warped and Karen's refuses to fix it or replace my dresser. I have contacted them numerous times. They refuse to fix my dresser because I moved within the year's time. They state that the warranty is void is you move from the original address that the furniture was delivered.

However, I have contacted them numerous times to get a copy of this warranty because I have never received this. The lady at customer service, Suzette, keeps stating that she will fax the warranty to me but she never follows through. She also gave me an email address for the furniture manufacturer and told me to take pictures and send them to him, I did just that, however, he has not yet contacted me back.

Per my conversation with Suzette today, she states that there is nothing more she can do for me, she can no longer fax me a warranty that states my warranty is void if I move and she can not give me the number of the furniture manufacturer. She states that the email address is enough.

Basically customer service has given me the run-around. I feel that I have been ripped off by Karen's and I will take further action.
