Complaint Review: KASAMBA.COM

I've never used Kasamba, but I have visited the site. In response to the people that say it is a rip off, how do you know if you haven't used that particula psychic. Why should you assume that they are rip offs if you never were a client. I feel that it is wrong to label someone a ripoff, just based on what they charge. You don't know the quality of their services to warrent such a high asking rate per minute. Honestly I wouldn't pay such a high rate, but guess what, when I see someone charging a rate higher rate than I want to pay, I don't hire them. I move on and find someone who charges a rate that I can afford. I don't slam them and slander their reputation and degrade their expertise, especially when I never used that particular psychic.

I just wanted to comment on this topic as I know a little about it since becoming an expert on Kasmaba. Kasamba charges OVER half of what our rates reflect. They charge not only a flat fees of 37% (Which is 7% higher then ANY other expert fee on the site.) for services rendered(Billing, advertising, etc.). They ALSO charge a 17 cent per minute connection fee for all live consults. Between the two fees, they wind up charging 52% of what ever the rates we (the experts) choose to post for services.

Now for a little backround on the company you have been spending money at for the last two years. Kasamba was a PRIVATELY(Art an Axel.) held company up until they were recently bought out right by an american company. The previous owners started rasing the fees they were charging experts to do site renovations which are still going on, as well as, to make the bottom line more appealing to perspective buyers. Considering that the company sold for 50 million USD, I would say they were slightly more then successful in their endeavor.

I would like to take a moment to comment on a statement you made, several actually. One your comment about the expert having to work a few measely extra minutes. I personally DONT ask an client to hit hire until after I am sure, SURE, we DO have a clear focus. This can take up to ten minutes depending on the frame of mind the client is in when they first come to me. I dont feel that they should have to pay for the time it takes for us to sort out their question or for the time it takes me to lay the spread. This is a personal consideration for them, as I see many clients who come in state their name and dob an then hit hire. I promply tell them to please close out an come back in an RELAX, I will ASK directly when I am ready for them to hit hire. AN I also tell them to AVOID any "EXPERTS" that do rush them to hit hire.

The next comment I would like to address is the "Experts just don't want to have to 'work'...they simply want to make as much as possible in as short a time as possible....taking from the vulnerable seeking hope. THAT CAN'T BE DENIED BY ANY!
I dont gorge my clients for money. In fact I have blocked clients for short periods of time, because they DO come back too often. An as I said earlier, I dont ask the clients to pay for set up time or drag out my consults by typing slow. In fact I went so far as to purchase a typing program to retrain myself to type faster to SAVE my clients money. So THIS IS DENIED BY ME!!

Now this last one I saved, because it was going to sound smug no matter how I put it. So I will put it the way I first thought about it when I read your comment.
"These people sit here and make more money per hour than most doctors or scientists or even lawyers with years of training and expensive schooling. This is ABSURD!!" I opted out of Cornel premed ( My God Father was a GP an got me into a surgery when I was about 15, an I didnt care for the smell of the inside of a human body.). IBM paid for college. An I have held management positions at AT&T, MCI and Gateway computers. Corparate america digusts me. As far as being a scientist I gave up on that at the age of 9, when I found out that they have to go beg for grants to continue funding or are forced to work on projects that dont allow them the freedom to discover. And lawyers? ANYONE can go to ANY decent public library an walk into the law section and learn as much, if not more then ANY lawyer. (I keep a lawyer on retainer simply to run MY ideas by him, to make sure they isnt something I have overlooked.) I offer my clients a lifetime of experience as well as a God given talent, I charge for 30 years of expeience in helping others walk the paths of their choosing. I charge for focusing not only my own energy but for reaching out to my clients and finding their energy. Refining that to the point where we can find an answer to the situations they find themselves in.

Now that I got that off my chest allow me to address your comment about how much experts charge. The rating sytyem on Kasamba is designed to be fair to BOTH new experts, as well as, the established ones. I am not sure ANYONE knows ALL of the things they take into consideration but ONE of them is avialability. So I know that several experts here list the rates at 20 dollars (Which by the way, IS a Rate Cap for ALL experts,in ALL catogories.) so that they remain available, which keeps them listed higher in the rankings then others who only work the site for a few hours at a time and not too often. I dont do it personally but have considered it, to help position myself on the site, but I am happy with my current positioning so haven't resorted to such tactics.

An if you are wondering how I came across this site, one of my clients related a issue they had, an I RESEARCHED Kasamba and found this about a month ago. I come here when I want to see who else has been outed for being a fake an to be honest as a guilty pleasure it is sort of like a sop oprea seeing the infighting among the ENLIGHTENED.

But I have email replies t get out to both clients on Kasamba, as well as, my inperson clients. I hope some of this has helped you to see that NOT all of the experts on Kasamba are only out to get what they can as fast as they can.

but some are not at that price some place that price there cause they do the reading before the person presses hire and then in the last minute they press hire and so the reading only really cost them $20 for however long it was so before judging some of the higher ones check out the comments and most will say how generous they are so please do not think all are like that ok lovenlight Lolita

Yep I got to agree $20 per minute is obnoxious!
Yes Kasamba allow their experts to get away
with ripping their clients off! Nothing new.

I recently complained to Kasamba about this
and got a email back from them that if I didnt
like it I could choose a expert who charges lower
fee's! YES I could well do that. BUT!!!! That
was not my point.

My point was how dare they charge $20 per
minute when not even a phone psychic is allowed
to charge $20 a minute.
NO psychic that owns their own shop charge $20
per minute because I guarantee if they did
they'd have NO buisness what so ever and
probably end up declaring bankrupt.
Whose going to visit a physic at their shop
and pay them $20 per minute? NOT ME MY FRIENDS!

Not even my general practioner charges $20 a
minute and yet he works harder then any of the
psyhics on Kasamba.

Its immoral and wrong that Kasamba let these
people get away with charging $20 a minute
in the first place. But who is there to STOP
them from doing so? NO ONE! And They -
Kasamba know it too. Why should they put a
stop to it when they get nearly half of the
$20 the expert earns!?!?
