One of my computers picked up a Dept. of Justice virus.  I purchased Kaspersky PURE Total Security 3.0.  I got the two year for three computer package. Software missed several virus on my laptop and did not discover virus on the PC that had the Dept. of Justice virus and did nothing to remove it.

I contacted them both by chat and email for assistance.  They gave me a case number but no advice or futher contact.  This software cannot find or fix anything.  Total acam.

I purchased the product directly from Kasbersky Lab.  I explained the problem before I purchased and was assured they would work with me to correct the problem.  I was also assured there was a 30 day no questions asked return policy.  I talked to the tect dept and they told me they would send me instructions to solve the problem.  They send a case number with no instructions.  They told me to reply to their email for assistance if I needed additional help.  I replyed twice and have heard nothing. This program is missing things on my other computer that both Windows defender and Microsoft Essentials are catching.  Advertized to be the be the best can't catch anything.   I will contact my Credit Card company to have the transaction cancelled.

There are no refunds on software ONLY exchanges. You can thank your fellow Americans for this as they pirated so much that the software companies had to protect themselves. Its obvious that you have NO IDEA how antivirus works or you wouldnt be posting. Everytime there is a fix for one virus, five more pop up. Its a never ending battle of keepup. You have the software, all you have yo do is WAIT for an update where they have fixed that particular virus.

Then do the download. There MAY be no immediate SOFTWARE fix for your issue. It may end up being a HARDWARE replacment issue. Either way, blasting THEM because they didnt IMMEDIATLY solve YOUR problem is a bit childish. The real world is not a web page and stuff takes TIME to happen. There WILL be a fix for your problem, most antivirus companies update their defence roughly once or twice a week.
