DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS SWEET FRENCH COUPLE!!! They will stab you in the back as fast as they can say "OUI!" Prior to Hurricane Wilma hitting this area we had a "small" leak over top the guest bathtub. We contacted our landlords NUMEROUS times and each time they said they would be right on it. This went on for over a month. The drip then moved across the ceiling of the bathroom down to the door of the bathroom. The leak saturated the carpeting upstairs going down into the downstairs bathroom.

Since this was occuring in the middle of the summer in FLORIDA of course, mold formed. Finally after 3 ER trips for my daughter the landlord finally sent someone over to the property to check out the AC unit. He said it was coming from the neighbor's AC and take it up with them. I contacted the neighbor who went and checked and he said it was from our AC not theirs. So another week has gone by and everyone is finger pointing and my entire family is sucking in mold into their lungs. My landlord sent the AC guy back out there who decided that it was our AC causing the leak and he fixed it. It has been 2 months now of constant dripping and draining of water into the apartment. The landlord sent and environmental company to the apartment with three heavy duty dehumidifiers to suck all the water from the air. These machines use a lot of electricity and have to run 24 hours a day. They sat there for 4 days. Did we receive reimbursement? NO! The landlord received money from his insurance company to replace the carpeting and reinsulate the bathroom. They never did.

To add insult to injury, after this all occurred Hurricane Wilma came through. There was a small crack on the popcorm ceiling prior to us moving in. After the storm the crack became the size of a large hand. Also, one side of the fence went down. When we reported this to the landlord (who never even came to check on the property before or after the storm or did not even bother calling) they said that they would report it to the insurance. Seems as the insurance has paid for that too and that the funds never went to the repair. These 2 people remind me of the greedy landlord commercial I used to see when I was a kid.

If you are about to purchase this home or rent it DON'T DO IT!!!!!!! THESE PEOPLE WILL NOT TELL YOU ABOUT THE DAMAGE THAT HAS BEEN DONE
