Kate Dickerson of Kate Dickerson Design is known as a "habitual debtor." She placed orders with vendors at trade shows, always tries to keep below $2000, and accepts the orders with net 30 or the promise of a credit card number. She then comes up with every excuse possible to avoid paying for the merchandise. She has a long history of running this scam, and has been in court numerous times. She owes our small company over $2000 for orders she placed in 2007, but has never paid for. She ignores collections agencies and judges. She is a polished liar and scam artist. Avoid at all costs!

Kate Dickerson Design has been dragged into court many times because of non-payment of vendors. The "Cally Ames" who gave a glowing report is none other than Kate Dickerson herself. Avoid this company.

As a long-time customer of Kate Dickerson Design, I want everyone to know what an incredibly GREAT store this is. They treat their customers like gold, and I cannot imagine them having problems with their vendors (as your reviewer says), since they do so much repeat business with top suppliers from around the world. How could they possibly continue to reorder products from their vendors if they didn't pay them?
Your bad review (from a vendor, NOT a consumer) is obviously written by someone who has a personal grudge against Kate Dickerson Design. I can't say enough great things about this shop, the owner, and ALL of their employees. Truly a top-of-the-line place to shop!
