Kaufman's Wedding World ripoff Non-delivery of merchandise Lancaster Pennsylvania
I ordered my dress with Kaufman's Wedding World in Lancaster on July 27, 2004 and I paid for the dress in full at the time of order with my American Express card.
I learned yesterday that they had closed their doors, were filing bankruptcy, and were being indicted by the PA Attorney General's office.
I have contacted the manufacturer of my wedding dress and they are willing to work with me directly; however, they have not been paid by Kaufman's for this dress. I will have to pay them separately and try to figure out how to get my money back from Kaufman's. I'm hoping that American Express will credit my account and my ordeal will be over. Otherwise, I will file with the bankruptcy court to get my money back.
