I ordered my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses 6 months before my wedding and was told they would be in a few weeks before my wedding. Well, the wedding dress never came in. I had to take one off of the rack that had stains on it 2 days before my wedding just so I would have time to get it altered. They refused to give me any money back despite the fact that I paid for a brand new dress and got a used one.

My bridesmaids dresses still weren't in 2 days before the wedding so we had to go to a different store so they would have something to wear. Kaufman's never offered to help find dresses. The dresses came in less than 24 hrs. before my wedding, so they refuse to give a refund on them because they came in "before" the wedding. How is less than 24 hrs enough time to have a dress altered?!!

Megan,

For your knowledge, Kaufman's made a "Verbal" promise (or what is called an "Expressed Warranty") of when your dress was to arrive (a few weeks before my wedding, you wrote).

In my opinion, Kaufman's failed their (Expressed) verbal/written promise/warranty and that failed expressed warranty "Null and Voids" (cancels out) any contract/receipt (verbal or written) between you and the retailer (Kaufman's). Null and Voiding (cancels out) any "No Return Policy" Kaufman's may have had.

Thereby allowing consumers to recover "damages" directly caused by the "Negligent" actions (failed expressed warranty) of the retail executive who promised but did not provide what was expressed.

Victims (such as yourself) sometimes may be awarded "damages" including pain and suffering, unnecessary stress, loss of wedding event, loss of photographs, punitive damages for Kaufman's "repetitive" illegal sales practices and the Ricco Act because of the nationwide "conspiracy" of many bridal dress executives who defraud consumers for higher profits causing "Nightmares" wedding experiences for consumers while failing (many times over) their "Expressed Warranty".

Kaufman's has been "Reckless" and "Negligent" in destroying many weddings by not providing the expressed warranty (couture dress) in a timely manner. Read the many complaints about Kaufman's via this web site for many years.

Megan, tell Kaufman's owner, (maybe Margaret Kaufman?) that since they "failed" to come through with the expressed warranty (a couture dress) in a "timely manner" then that "failed" expressed warranty null and voids any contract or No Return Policy.

Insist Kaufman return your money immediately or I will help you (or possibly your attorney, if necessary) to recover damages of pain and suffering, loss of event, loss of photographs that does not reflect the dress you choose (it never arrived, right), punitive damages and possible the Ricco Act (racketeering) because of the nationwide conspiracy (in my opinion) of many bridal executives who run the bridal dress industry failing their expressed warranties.

Bridal dress executives (wolves) nationwide have been brutalizing brides (lambs) and their mothers (sheep) nationwide for 30 years as far as my family has experienced.

Three generations (my mother, myself and my niece) have been "Brutalized" with the illegal deception negligently "created" by many bridal retail executives nationwide who cause consumers "unnecessary" stress while just trying to have a Happiest Day in their life.

I am a retired corporate litigation investigator and for two years I have been investigation the negligent and defrauding bridal dress industry nationwide in behalf of little bridal parties (lambs) who get chewed up and spit out by corporate executives (wolves) who run the bridal dress industry.

If Kaufman's Wedding World does not return your money immediately, tell them I am going to petition (in your behalf Megan and others as well) the PA State Attorney (Mr. Mendelsohn) who has already dealt with defiant illegal bridal dress retailers in years past.

Mr. Mendelsohn also reviewed a "brief" (describing the nationwide criminal activity) of many bridal dress executives who defraud consumers for higher profits for "them" greedy selves (corporate wolves).

My investigation has resulted in many hundreds of bridal dress complaints nationwide involving the same old "repetitive" illegal deceptive sales issues.

Such sales deception involves missing garment tags, late arriving dresses or never arriving dresses (like Megan), switched materials and sales tags to mislead consumers, lying, cheating and stealing sales reps. that tell you the dress will arrive and then fail to provide it, discontinued dresses that cause consumers problems and tears, nightmare unlawful retailers who cause "harrowing experience.

Plus manufacturers who aid and abet the crime with their lack of help in stopping retail executives from misleading consumers with manufacturers product, arrive dates, etc. I could go on.

TELL KAUFMAN'S WEDDING WORLD OWNER (MARGARET KAUFMAN?) THAT LADIES NATIONWIDE ARE "SICK AND TIRED" OF THE REPETITIVE DECEPTION OF BRIDAL DRESS SALES AND TO QUICKLY REPLY.

OTHERWISE WE WILL ASK THE PA STATE ATTORNEY (Mr. MENDELSOHN) TO PUT KAUFMAN'S "OUT OF BUSINESS" IF their STAFF DOESN'T STOP PROMISING WHAT THEY CAN'T PRODUCE (A FAILED EXPRESSED WARRANTY MANY TIMES OVER) and to further return monies stolen from many ladies (lambs and sheep).

Megan, tell Kaufman's you also want to be reimbursed for your bridesmaids dresses also since Kaufman's "Failed" the "expressed warranty" (never arrived) of bridesmaids dresses too.

It is illegal for "any" retail executive (bridal dresses, cars or anything to be sold) to "Fail" their "Expressed Warranty".

If retailers are caught committing the crime (selling a Rolls Royce and delivering a Hyundai) the retailer "MUST" return your money and compensate your damages or we can request the PA state attorney (who already knows about bridal dress scams/fraud) to arrest and send to jail Kaufman's owner for their illegal sales deception.

It is retailer's (Kaufman's) choice, pay up for your criminal activity or go to jail.

The Utah state attorney arrested (previously) a bridal dress retailer and I am sure we have more then enough "Circumstantial", "Material" and "Supporting" evidence as well as many witness (little lambs and sheep) testimonies nationwide.

These testimonies will prove beyond a reasonable doubt the "repetitive" sales deception created and negligently enforced by bridal dress executives nationwide yearly, including but not limited to Kaufman's Wedding World. Vera Wang has also been caught defrauding consumers in IL, PA, NY & MD.

Hope the above helps. If Kaufman's does not return your money, let me know and I will be happy to provide you with much supporting evidence of this nationwide criminal sales deception (conspiracy, in my opinion) of bridal dress executives (wolves) who defraud sweet consumers (lambs & sheep) for higher greedy profits.

Retail executives (not just bridal dresses) are not allowed by law to promise consumers something they can't produce.

Pound Kaufman's with the above information and if they still do nothing let us know. Also let us know if they do reply as well as I am curious how they respond. It may further document my nationwide investigation of defrauding retail executives who run the bridal dress industry.

My investigation continues as I hope some day to protect future victims of the bridal dress industry. I tried to save the ladies of 2004 but the NY State Attorney (Mr. Gamma) has decided that defrauded ladies of bridal dresses are not important as Martha Stewart, Peter Baconavic, Morgan Stanley, Arthur Andersen and so on. They were all convicted of "FRAUD" simiular to Kaufman's wedding world.
