Complaint Review: KAUFMANS WEDDING WORLD

Kaufmans in whitehall sold my daughter and I a prom gown on 5-4-03. they told us it would arrive in 5 business days. Ihave called several times and no one know where the gown is. They gave me many number to the corporate office and all I get is voice mail and no return calls.

All the store can tell me is that it is at the warehouse and they do not know when it will be shipped. It is now 5/21 and we still have no dress to wear on the 31st of May. We need many alterations performed and they don't care. they will not even call me to tell me when I can expect it!!!

I have paid in full for the dress as they requested, I am now out $249.10 and have no dress and they will not refund my money. I am now stuck with no dress for my dauighter's senior prom or the money to go and get her a new dress.

Any ideas....I am so frustrated and my daughter is so very disappointed. It looks like I am left to spend God know how much to go elsewhere and get another dress or tell my daughter she cannot attend the prom.

This is very unfair. I really cannot afford to spend more money and I should not have to. I cannot believe they can be so unfair to have this happen.
