ORDERED THE ORIGINAL OLD WEST COOKBOOK AND A PACK OF THREE SEASONING CONTAINERS. THE BOOK COST $4.29 AND THE THREE SEASONINGS CAME OUT TO $9.99 EACH OR $30.00. I WAS CHARGED $20.22 ON 3/22/2013. I WAS CHARGED 4.29 ON 3/25/2013. AND $26.96 ON 4/22/2013. MY TOTAL PAYMENT SHOULD HAVE BEEN APPROXIMATELY $35.00. HOWEVER WITH TODAYS CHARGE I AM BEING CHARGED $51.47. CALLED THE COMPANY AND GOT THE RUN AROUND AND THAT I ORDERED TWO BOOKS NOT ONE. i ORDERED ONE. I WAS TOLD PRETTY MUCH MY MATH IS INCORRECT AND THEY CHARGED WHAT WAS CORRECT. NOW I HAVE TO CALL MY BANK TO CHANGE MY CREDIT CARDS TO AVOID ANY MORE FRAUDULENT CHARGES. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USING THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING.

I responded to a poorly-designed e-mail pitch that did not give me a confirmation page with the total dollar amount for what I thought was a simple order. I clicked yes on a butane torch, timer and thermometer, and was completely understanding that the 16.00+change was the total and final amount. One month later, I got dinged for 29.85, which I immediately complained and contested with my bank, and then researched the company online. Apparently they are using possibly three names and I found two other phone numbers...and when I contacted them the representative would not hear that I wanted my money back and tried to placate me with a "five-dollar refund" off my total of over 109.00!!!!!! So there is a completely hidden "payment plan" I never saw, and I don't miss details like that. The "sales pitch" consisted of small pop-up windows with tightly-spaced "yes-no" buttons and brief descriptions, and they are rapidly followed by another pop-up box with another gadget. I took my time and re-read everything before i moved on and thought to myself how easily it would be to make a mistake here when ordering.Yet no where were any "payment plan options" listed! I did get the feeling the supervisor took note when I relayed this information about poor website design to him, so possibly they will fix this. I told them I was going to go online about this.... I demanded to speak to a supervisor who finally agreed with me about the absence of a confirmation page and who finally agreed to send me a return shipping label. I am going to be charged an 11.95 processing and handling fee after all of this, and it will take 7-10 days to be credited to my account, AFTER I wait another two days for the shipping label. My advice is do not deal with this company...their sales reps read from scripts when you state you want a refund and they say you agreed to the conditions of the payment plan...when this was clearly not stated or shown on the e-mail I got. The first rep even told me no supervisors were available to take my call, then remained on script trying to convince me I had made the mistake, until about three minutes later she put me on hold and I was able to talk to a supervisor. Read every complaint online about them BEFORE you decide to buy.
