KB Gear Interactive aka JamCam ripoff They sell the product and disappear Internet
KB Gear Interactive aka JamCam ripoff sell the product and disappear, and sell to another company who isn't providing support. Victimized many consumers klasfr
I got a JamCam 3.0 as a small Xmas gift. I know they are cheap-o's but it's a toy none the less! I tried to load it into my computer which after some trial & error, realized JamCam is not compatible with Windows XP.
I tried to go to the helpful website of the KB Gear Interactive manufacturers and found, like many consumers have as well, that that page could not be found.
A little more research showed me that another company has taken over KB Gear Interactive due to the massive orders that came in and KB's inability to process the orders.
This makes sense to me, until I read a rip-off report dated March of this year.
So if a report dated in March 2002 goes on to say that KB Interactve has disappeared, and a rebuttal comes in October of 2002 to say, "yes, KB Gear Interactive has gone out of business,"
How could the JamCam's still be on the market for Christmas of 2002, with all Manufacturer's info already being 1 year invalid?
That's like selling someone ticket to a ball game for next season, when you know that the present season will be their last!
All I can say so far is this, Next Christmas, if anyone is interested in the JamCam, check the product's manufacturing info. Scrooge really does exsist, and you will find him at KB Gear Interactive. If it says KB Gear Interactive, JamCam or the website is www.jamonline.com, chances are they will disappear again before the year is over.
And to think that Disney online is helping to endorse these scammers!

I want to thank Jim of St.Louis, Missouri for his comment on how to fix some of the problems I was having with the JamCam. Thanks for your advice Jim!
However, the JamCam is where it should be, sitting in some garbage pile, under tons of other junk! I went with a "trustworthy" company who is too well-known to even risk a public scandal!
Besides, the JamCam is a crappy camera with horrible quality. You get what you pay for I guess!(And I got the JamCam free....so there u go!)

JamCam Win XP Driver support found
#3Consumer Suggestion

Hi,
One of my clients wass ripped off with a JamCam. I found XP drivers at www.driverguide.com which is the first place I always go for lost driver software. Oh Yeah.. You haveto register - but its free.
Two files are included to be installed in order. The second updates the first. The solution was workable for my client's machine and I hope it will be workable for others.
Good Luck!
