I am an honest cash buyer that now will loose $50,000 due to inflated prices caused by Countrywide and KBHOMES. I can't walk away from a devalued community now of renters insstead og homewoners.I could have bought a home in a real real estate masrket like that of today but now am stuck in a devalued 2 bedroom home with my daughter while KBHOMES and Countrywide walk away with stolen money due to fraud they participated in.

There was a great article in last week's local San Antonio Sunday paper about henry cisneros. How he went from being the HUD sec. and bailing, after getting caught lying to the fbi, to being on the board's of BOTH countrywide AND kb homes. How, as HUD sec, he lowered the standards, allowing tens of thousands of people who shouldn't have qualified, to purchase homes at sub-prime rates, THEN got on the board's of BOTH countrywide AND kb homes. I'm surprised the local paper had the balls to print the article. Just one of the many reasons we're in the mess we're in today. In one subdivision here in town, out of 125 homes, 100 have been foreclosed on or are in the process of being. On "his baby", Largo Vista, one out of 5 have been foreclosed on.

Why do you feel you are special and want to blame others for your unfortunate situation? House prices ARE set by the current market conditions. No one cares weather or not you paid CASH or financed your home. Recently I refinanced my home and have lost nearly 90,000 dollars from its appraised value of 5/05. Do you feel you are special and shouldn't have to live in a community of low life renters? You agreed to the purchase price and now that home values are down you want to blame someone for your loss??? Why not sell the house and invest in the stock market. You can lose everything and get a government bail out. My suggestion is sell your house take the loss and buy a manufactured home, put it on your own lot in the middle of nowhere with no neighbors.
