Complaint Review: KB Transportation

KB Transportation terminated me while on Family Leave ACT S. Sioux City Nebraska

I started with KB Transportation in July/2006 and went on FMLA June of 2008.

Disbatchers as follows , Barb was my disbatcher, then adam who was new but had others fill in the gap. The company had me taking loads that were either already late or not ready yet and expect to be there in minutes without sleep, or to lie on my logs to make it legal when I was out of hours.

As for my FMLA(Family Medical Leave ACT), According to the FMCSR 391.23 I was required to have 1 year or 1250 hours and a company has to have 50 or more employees, I was just under my 1 year by 2 weeks, but qualified according to the hours and employees per the FMCSR.

I notified the employer(KB Transportation) by qualcomm and by phone 2 weeks prior to needing the FMLA. Sean, who is just the recruiter, failed to transfer me to Nancy in Safety regarding this issue, which led them to have me take another load( on said date for FMLA needed).

I let KB know that the State of Texas was involved and they said take load anyways, we will get you a bus ticket or plane ticket home when we get you back to Sioux City to the terminal. I let the disbatcher know that i was not quitting but was going to be returning when state released me of said responsibility. KB Transportation fired me 5 days later while i'm on FMLA, which was June 30th,2008.

According to DAC,KB transportation has stated the following:Late pickup/delivery, Company policy violation, personal contact requested, unauthorized location-w.o notice(abandoned equipment), unauthorized passenger, other(quit).

All these accusations are false, for I contacted DACfix to have my DAC repaired at my cost and nothing was done, except what I could have written the rebuttel myself against KB on my own DAC report. USIS sent a written report back to DACfix, and to my surprise everything still on DAC on my work record.

As for the company who says that they are family oriented, IS A JOKE...They say they help their drivers and their families , I find that to be a joke as well. For the loads and there pay its rediculous that they either cant find bills, logs,scales and reimbursements, unless it benefits them or the company not the driver.

 Call me or email me (((REDACTED))). What these people do is wrong and how they make you break the law and DOT laws is just insane! How do they get away with this stuff! My email garytriano13@yahoo.com. We have got to stand together and fight these guys! I have them on tape telling me to break laws! I swear to god if they touch my dak I’m going to 20/20 and DOT with all this and what I have on them!
