i bought an eMachine computer back in the late 90s and I found out (by accident) that I was part of a class action suit against the manufacturer.  They are offering replacement compuiters.  They sent out notices with what they called "unique claim numbers" on them to the people who had filed their warranties, which I did.  However, I had moved since buying the computer so I didn't get the notice or the "unique claim number".  I went ahead and filed my claim because I was told by someone who worked for KCC that it shouldn't be a problem, that they would just match it up with their records.  On October 17th, I got a letter saying my claim was denied because I didn't have that number.  I've been calling practically every day since and they keep taking my phone number and saying they'll have somebody return my call.  No one has returned my call and I'm wondering if this isn't just a ruse to eliminate some of the claiments!  Surely someone had 5 minutes to return a call in the last 2 weeks!  That's plain ridiculous!
