BEWARE!  Do not buy from KD's Auto Sales! The owner, Chris, is a lying, thief who sells complete garbage!  Please stay away from these heartless crooks! My 18 year old daughter went there and she was taken advantage of due to her age and robbed! She was sold a 1995 honda civic, piece of garbage, for $2,000! She did have her friend with her, who checked out the car and from what he could see, it was ok. but, who checks if the odometer is working??? The odometer read 140,000 miles when she purchased the car, and when she got it home, it still read 140,000 miles which means WE HAVE NO CLUE HOW MANY MILES ARE REALLY ON THIS CAR!!! That is absurd and by all means is not right! When I called the dealership to complain about the odometer, I was told the owner would get back to me, however, there were NO RETURN CALLS! NONE! I called them 5 times and was finally told by the girl who answers the phones there, since the owner, Chris, is too much of a coward and thief to get on the phone, that we bought the car as is and there was nothing they were going to do about it!  How despicable! Not only did the odometer not work, but none of the lights worked and my daughter was ticketed $200 that night for not having tag or tail lights! I even asked if they would just fix the lights and was told NO! They have mechanics there on site, and they couldn't at least fix the lights? This just proved how horrible of people they are. I can go on and on, as there have been so many problems with the car and we are ready to junk it, but all I can hope is that I stop at least one person from buying from these ruthless, cruel thieves!

KD's AUTO ARE LIARS & THIEVES

PLEASE stay away from KD's Auto Sales!  I am 18 and saved all my money over the last two years to buy myself a car.  I went to KD's Auto Sales in Margate with my friend.  I was told by Kris, the owner, that the car was in perfect running order and had no problems.  I believed him.  I am a trusting person.  Stupid me, I know!  My friend did check out what he could on the car and felt it looked ok.  BUT, we didnt see the odometer and lights did not work, since it was daytime.  I paid $2,000 cash and drove the car out of the dealership.  That night i got a $200 ticket for my tail light, breaklights not working and then realized the odometer was at the same miles when i left the dealership.  I called the dealership, and they never returned my call.  the girl who answers the phone for them is their cover up and only says in so many words, TOO BAD, THE CAR WAS BOUGHT AS IS AND THATS IT!  To make a long story short, the car has died, there was an electrical problem with the car and i cant afford to have it fixed.  all of my hard earned money is gone, and i cant get to my job, so i lost that too.  While i've cried over this for days now, all i can do is feel better knowing that everyone gets what they deserve in this life and KD"s Auto (Kris) will get his by God.  also, i'm hoping i can stop at least one person from buying from these horrible thieves!

So then, your daughter buys a $2000 car. What exactly did the "friend" check out? Was it taken on a test drive? When somebody drives a car, they look at the dash board indicators. How can you drive a car and not see if the odometer is working? Was there a warranty with the car? If not, then it indeed was an "AS IS" sale. If you were so concerned she made an intelligent purchase, where were you when she went to the dealership? Was the car a piece of junk with who knows how many miles? Probably. However, if a proper check out was made then we wouldn't be here today, would we? There are three people to blame...you for not going along. The friend because he didn't do sh-- in "checking out" the car. Your daughter for failure to check out the car and all the options and features as well as possibly not even doing an intelligent test drive. Additionally, the failure of both of you for not knowing what "AS IS" means. No, I don't work for them.
