I was in a wreck and had my car totaled, but thought I would be covered because of the Gap Insurance, Kieth Pierson sold me at $799.00. But the last $800.00 I owed was denied by gap. Saying The dealer sold me the car for over 120% msrp which was $989 over. I called Kieth Pierson to see if they would make it right and just pay me the refund of $799.00 on the gap they sold me. I got a voicemail , so I left a message. Of course I was not near my phone when it rang back. Tried to call back. Was told to hold. Could hear them as they didn't put me on hold. They pushed around my call and I got a finance guy who refused to get me to the warranty clerk and he was not helpful. When I asked for Mr. Pierson's email or his assistant he convently didn't know it or the assistants name. All I want is for the dealer to pay me back the 799.00 for gap that turned out to be of no help. Since Gap said Keith Pierson over charged me. The last person I talked to at the dealer actually said get legal advise! I just want them to make it right. At least I know I won't buy my new car from there. I would rather go way out of my way to another dealer!

They Didn't "OVER CHARGE" You!

The initials "MSRP", the "S" means "SUGGESTED".  The dealer can sell the car at whatever price they want, be it over or under the MSRP.  Above MSRP is NOT "overcharge" in the legal sense of the word.  The terms and conditions of the Gap policy would have stated this exclusion.  This is something you should have read BEFORE buying the Gap.
