Kelly Corporations E-Bay ripoff store less-than-honest business practice DeBary Florida

This company lists, among other things, children's toys and games. We located some educational toys for our grandchildren on their E-Bay store. We purchased them in early December using the "buy-it-now" feature that E-Bay offers. (circumvents the need to "bid" via the typical E-Bay auction scenario.

This option cost a few dollas more, but we wanted to ensure that the toys would arrive wee before Christmas.

We ordered four items and paid over $89.00 for them, including shipping.

About 10 days later we recevied three of the four items with a packing list that indicated that all four were shipped. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, we waited a day or two before contacting them, hoping that the final item would arrive on its own.

When we contacted them via e-mail, we recevied an auto-reply message from them telling us that they required two business days to look into all e-mail requests.

After several more e-mails went un-answered, we suspected that we were being ignored. E-Bay was of little use to complain to, since the relative amounts were small. They refered us to their banking and credit card division - PayPal to lodge a complaint.

Paypal froze the transaction, and I recevied a reply from Kelly Corporations the next day offering a refund, but I would need to cancel my claim with PayPal first.

We did as they suggested; and have still (one month later) not recevied our money.

OK, we are small change to these people, I am sure.. All I know is that our granddaughter did not get her toy; and we have not been refunded any money by these arrogant people.

Thanks for letting me vent about what looks like a less-than-honest business practice. I hope they step up to the plate and do the right thing; but something tells me that this will be my first E-bay loss to a dishonest seller in over 100 transactions over five years..
