Complaint: So-called Repairman (owner) diagnosed problems with our RV's air conditioning system and satellite system. Claims was unable to obtain satisfactory parts. He claimed as a small business owner, he does not stock the necessary parts and needed paid upfront (this is his trademark for his scam) to get our parts to fix our motorhome.

After several phone calls, he then claimed that he did not receive and/or purchase satisfactory parts, i.e. broken, wrong part came in, etc. As our planned yearly vacation was approaching and no time left to rectify our situation, he said he would "give us all our money back and he was sorry". We never have received our money back which is $1,144.80 we were ripped off.

Numerous phone calls have been made by both my husband and myself. He never answers the call, rarely returns the call to us after leaving voice mail messages regarding our refund. On the rare occasion that he does return a call, it has been a different excuse each and every time of why he hasn't sent us our money back. I called him on August 1, 2012, again
with no answer. I left a message advising him that if he did not respond to my call and inform us as to when he would give us our money back, I would contact the BBB and the Police Department. Strangely enough, he did return my call
within minutes. This time he told me his house burned and he lost alot of tools and his papers, etc.  That was a lie - I drove by, observed and photographed him standing outside - no sign of a fire.  He told me he was sorry for dragging this out since May and if I would give him until Friday of that week, he would get us our money.

Needless to say, I had small hopes of him being trustworthy in his statement at this point. Only after being ripped off for over $1,000 have I looked into more information on this RV Repair service. I have found other complaints filed with
BBB and other online service review websites. It should also be noted that we were made aware that he has pulled the same sorts of situations with other RV owners in the Melbourne, Florida area and has been removed from "allowed repair services" at a local RV storage facility and apparently is no longer allowed on the premises.  I do find it disturbing that he is allowed on Patrick AFB to "repair" RV's at their camping area......... my opinion: this guy really likes ripping off military people.

This man has continuously lead us on with excuse after excuse on why he hasn't sent us our money back. He has used anything from his house burned to heart attacks as reasons for not giving people their money back.  He said he would give us all of our money back, he will not.

We have been badly ripped off by someone who continues to lie and cheat customers. We are not wealthy people and this is alot of money to us to get taken by this con-artist. It appears as though we are not the first victim that fell prey to his story...... and obviously not the last.  There are other very similar complaints filed with the BBB that have occured since our original complaint about him.  Incidently, he did not respond at all to our complaint filed with BBB.

Not sure where the Complainant is supposed to add additional information or updates re: their complaint so here goes:   Unbelievable that my husband happened to finally observe this guy - the very day I posted my complaint - and he confronted him about ripping us off for $1144.80.  And after 2.5 years, the guy told my husband he would have the money by Friday (today).  We figured he wouldn't show up at the location when he said he would.  Cannot believe this con-artist finally really did show up and paid up.  So, I am happy to report this has finally been resolved.  Unbelievable coincidence.
