Complaint Review: Ken Berry Pool And Spa Remodeling

Ken Berry operating since 1968 Recently I had Ken Berry do an acid wash and plaster touch ups on my pool in Huntington Beach. It took 8 days, some of the days there wasn't any work done. I was given false promises of not having to replaster my pool, but to have the acid wash, filling of cracks and polish instead. The job started 9/4/04 and still isn't finished. The pool looks worse than before he worked on it. There are still cracks, the pool wasn't acid washed, the plaster work that was done is has buckled. Some of the plaster is floating.

Ken Berry has only returned my calls once 9/20/04 to say he was out of town. (nothing else) Big problem! He doesn't put his contractors license on his pamphlets! I tried to contact the State Contractors Board, but all of the numbers I called are disconnected. The Better Business Bureau doesn't have any record of him.
On 9/17/04 he stated he would be back on 9/21/04 to finish the job, it is 9/23/04 today and still nothing.
I was scammed for $1029.00 and I want my money back.
