Today, 5/31/13, is 2nd time I've been into this dealership.  I found a car on the Internet on 5/16/13; called & spoke to salesman at Kendall Hyundai, who suggested I come in that day as I could see car & get a better price than on Internet.  I explained that I'd come the next day, 5/17/13, as there was going to be a Dade County Credit Union Car Sales Event in Homestead (further south) & I'd pass by on way to that event.  Well, I did.  Stopped at Kendall Hyundai and was met by a "USED CAR CON MAN" - typical BS, who told a price which was $2,000.- MORE than the price I'd seen on the Internet!  I left & drove further south to Homestead where this "USED CAR CON MAN" had told that his Kendall Hyundai Dealership had more Hyundai Genesis cars on display.  Well, guess what?  I again wasted my time and gas because there were NO Hyundai Genesis at that Credit Union Sales event.  But it was there that I met another Kendall Hyundai "USED CAR SALESMAN", Mark, who promised to find the car for me.

Several days later I got a call from that salesman, Mark.  I agreed to visit the KENDALL HYUNDAI Dealership.  What another waste of my valuable time and gas.  It AGAIN became obvious why USED CAR CON MEN have the bottom of the barrel reputation that they do as was proven in the outcome of this disastrous visit to KENDALL HYUNDAI.  As a woman alone shopping for a car, do NOT even think of visiting Kendall Hyundai with your business.  The ALL MALE staff insult your intelligence as a WOMAN, do a typical "used car CONman bait and switch tactic", waste your time and then make you feel like you're being held hostage. The Appraiser / staff requested my car keys and driver's license to supposedly give an offer for evaluation and trade-in of my car - A 2008 Mercedes C300 with 31,790 miles for which they offered $16K.   The car which I had initially interested to purchase was a 2010 Hyundai Genesis sedan with 35,000 + miles being offered for $25,995.- the salesman, Mark, assured me that since today, 5/31/13, is the last day of the month, the "Used Car Sales Manager" would be willing to make a significant adjustment in the Internet advertised price of $25,999.-  No such thing happened.  Mark did his little chat then came back to me with a paper on which he'd written some figures.  Needless to say the price they were offering to "steal" my car for was more than $4,000.- BELOW the Kelley Blue Book value, $3,000.- LESS than CarMax had offered me in writing and $2,500.-  LESS than Lexus had offered.  I suppose I was NOT FINANCING which is where the Dealership would hit me up (I was paying CASH!).  Also, the sale price for their 2010 Hyundai Genesis Sedan with 35,000+ miles remained the SAME - $25,999.-.  Then, Mark had the NERVE/ the cahones to draw a line on the paper, indicating where I should put my initials/signature to "close" the sale.

I have NEVER experienced such "LOW CLASS USED CAR CONMAN TACTICS", I suppose because I've only dealt with Mercedes Benz Dealerships having driven Mercedes since 1988 - more than 25 years & 4 Benzes.  You get what you pay for, & then at least some level of professionalism, even if they're still "USED CAR CON MEN"!.  Needless to say, I demanded my driver's license & car keys and left Kendall Hyundai with one message to that dealership's staff:  "You can all kiss my ---!!!  WOMEN BEWARE!!  I will be posting this negative review everywhere on the INTERNET for all to read.  You ladies can then make your decision whether or NOT you knowingly want to be conned out of your hard earned money, because if you won the Lottery or PowerBall, you definitely would NOT be buying a Hyundai, NOR would you buy your car at Kendall Hyundai!!!  I do enjoy driving my old (2008) Mercedes Benz C 300 with only 31,700 miles.  Now, what would make me think that I would EVER be happy driving a Hyundai sold to me by such low class unprofessionals!!??  The question below asks: "Would you recommend this dealership to family & friends?".  There was only a: " Yes", & a "No" option to answer.  They missed putting the option: "Only to an enemy", which is what I would have selected.
