This is this is the most correupt, ignorant and obnoxious car dealer I ever did business with but no more. They cost me $2500 because they did not inform me that Oregon has a Eledtric Vehicle rebate program and that I had six months to file an application.

I checked with a toyota dealer in Klamath Falls Oregon and they stated all dealers should inform the buyer at the signing of documents, Kendall did not, and takes the position that I should have known about it and that it was my fault,

I checked with a toyota dealer in Klamath Falls Oregon and they stated all dealers should inform the buyer at the signing of documents
- Of course THEY told you that.  They want you to think that they are the "good guys". So when you go to them in the future you will believe what ever they tell you, because they told you exactly what you wanted to hear this time.

Kendall did not, and takes the position that I should have known about it and that it was my fault,
- They are correct. This rebate isn't a Toyota Rebate, it isn't a rebate that they are offering in any way. It is a rebate offered by an outside agency.

So yes, while there is nothing that says they can't tell you. If they don't that isn't a RipOff.  You in fact still bought this car without knowing there was a rebate. However, there might be some people if they aren't told of the rebate wouldn't buy the car. In that case the only one losing out is the dealer. If they are trying to Rip you off..seems like a very backwards way to do it...Right?

Next time perhaps you should do your research as this "Rebate" was very easy to find out about.

It's YOUR money and it was YOU who decided to get this car. You somehow found out about this rebate program. It's up to the customer to perform due dilegence since it's THEIR money. (Now's the time to write back something dumb like "you must work for them")!
