Having been a repeat customer of Kendall Toyota in Miami - I went back a second time to trade my Scion XD for a Toyota Tacoma on 12/24/2013 - On 12/25/2013 I ran a car fax and realized the vehicle was a total loss and had a rebuilt title which was not disclosed to me at the time of sale.

Now on 12/26/2013 when I confronted them about it they just the contract i signed was null and void and that I can either get my vehicle back or they can just repossess the truck. Really? Big dealer screws up and all they can say is Im sorry take your car back.

All I know is I would reccommed never purchasing a vehicle from Kendall Toyota.

You can 'Google' this- CARFAX (COMPANY) WIKIPEDIA, and read more about it at that website.

Here is a quote from the website: "CARFAX lists only information that is reported to them and consumers should not take this report to be a complete accident history."

WELCOME TO OUR TOYOTA DEALERSHIP- HOW MAY WE DECEIVE YOU AND FINANCIALLY INJURE YOU TODAY?

This is an honest question. Are dealers required by law to report all services to Carfax? Not what they should do or what we hope they do. Is it illegal to not report repairs to Carfax. How does Carfax get their information?

I always wondered about that. Does anyone here actually know for sure?
