Kenny Elder LIAR AND THIEF Nashville Tennessee
Mr Elder quoted a price for a custom made desk for my daughter in Nashville. He also required a deposit of over $600 which was to "buy the material" for the desk. This was @Sept 1, 2013.
To this date (Dec 1) my daughter has no desk and despite Mr Elder's promise to refund the deposit, no money either. Some of his excuses include: a slipped disc, a broken bone in his back, the insurance company moving slowly on his disability claim, a death of a family member in Minnesota, a trip to Canda (which Mr Elder has never been to before), global warming, Obamacare, etc.
My daughter has contacted him numerous times and he always claims to be either returning her money or completing the project. She has emails indicating he will return her money, yet will not call her now or contact her, or answer her calls.
When I contacted Mr Elder for my daughter (he won't answer if he sees my daughter's phone # come up) he refused to return the money despite several times telling my daughter in emails that he would. He also said that any conversations need to be between him and my daughter but won't call her or answer her calls.
DO NOT buy anything from this rip-off artist. He advertises on Craigslist as "custom made furniture " so be warned: he will steal from you and NEVER deliver!
