Complaint Review: Kensington Assistance Agency

I received the post card advertisement in the mail. I had previously applied for some college grant information and this is what I received so I thought it was a legitimate outfit.

Talk about bad timing. I spoke with agents on various occasions. A woman took my call one time and a man took my call another time.

It seemed like such a streamlined operation. They said that my business (Laser Maker Baseball Clinics) would receive a $30k grant. I really asked in depth questions about where I could legally use the money toward in my business and they said that all these questions would be answered once my file is processed.

It never was. Nobody returned my call and no file was sent back to me other than a packet labeled 'Kensington Assistance Agency' with a long list of loan packages titled 'Small Business Agency (Federal) Synopsis.

In other words it was mumbo jumbo and a way to further confuse people.
