Complaint Review: Kensington Assistance Agency

Kensington Assistance Agency sent me a postcard in the mail back in March of this year promising at least $5000.00 in grants or my money back. They also informed me that as a tax-paying citizen of Georgia I was already pre-approved. I requested a home and business grant.

They asked that I pay $299.97 to cover the cost of the applications for grants that would be sent to me.
They said that I had 3 days from the arrival of the survey they send to find out more details about you and your family to cancel and request a refund minus $29.95 for shipping costs.

They said it could take months up to a year to get a listing of grants I am qualified for. I was told that they would even go as far as to assist me in applying for the grants they scouted for me. Yes, It did sound too good to be true and I hesitated and was skeptical, but I thought I would take my chances and I overdrafted my account to pursue this "investment"!

I contacted them about 3 or 4 times between now and then to do a follow-up and I was told that "legally they had until July 21 to mail grant applications". Well, today is July 19th and there is nothing in the mail and the icing on the cake is that both contact numbers I have on them listed in this report are no longer in service! I am outraged! disgusted! I WANT A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AND I WILL BE CONTACTING AN ATTORNEY OR ATTORNEY GENERAL AND PUSH THAT THIS COMPANY BE SUED OUT THE WAZOO!!!
