One of my cars had 1/8 of a tank of gas left and promptly broke down after a $40 fill up at the Landmark Towers Sunoco on Thursday 17MAY2012 at around 1600. Half mile from the station, the car stalls and I'm forced to have it towed and diagnosed. The top half of the tank had gasoline that was contaminated with a "film" and the bottom half was mostly water. Total cost around $350.

The vehicle was mechanically sound, reported and stated by the local Curry's Car shop. I have samples of both halves, and immediately stopped by the Sunoco to speak with any leadership available. They told me the owner, Kent Taylor would be in Monday 21MAY. I call around 1100 and he automatically knows why I am calling. I gave no plea or rant, but he tells me that there is absolutely no way it was his product.

I told him I have a sample and the Mechanic reported the car was mechanically sound. He said there is absolutely nothing he could do, and he didn't have a procedure for reimbursement. I then informed him that I wanted the number to Corporate. He said he didn't have it. I told him that I have several options to choose, like calling my JAG team for legal advise and the BBB to file a complaint, he then told me to call Hillary Clinton and hung up.

His business cannot be found on the BBB website. My biggest issue was his sarcasm and presenting himself as an uninformed, incompetent owner with no protocol to even analyze the product or situation.
