We hired Brian Kenworthy to do a bath room addition/remodel and to put 50 feet of gutters and downspouts on side of our home. He was to install shower and move a toilet and have drywall ready for us to finish. He had to do a 4ft by 4 ft block foundation under new addition also. Ater 6 weeks of incompetent work done we had a $350 shower stall sitting on half inch osb, no insulation under crawlspace or roof, daylight coming in from bad roof, incomplete wall framing ceiling framing, a load bearing wall on a 2 story home left unsupported, a 2 ft pile of soil causing the basement to flood, trash all over the yard. sewer pipe left uncapped, no toilet installed and no downspouts or gutterswork done.
They also broke our toilet, didn't replace our window shutters, damaged or chainlink fence, left ceiling headers unattached and had cut a 5 inch hole in a floor joist and left other joists not nailed to frame. They also left a 54 inch by 4 in gap between the old floor and new osb floor open and the two floor level were one and a half inches different in height. We tried to call him and he would never answer the phone unless we called from a friends home(he has caller ID) When we went to his home to find out what was happening, he would not answer the door so we left.
Half way around the block we noticed the police at his home and went back. He had called them on us. All that we had done was ring his doorbell and knock on his door in a very unthreatening way ..
