STATEMENT FROM KERENDIAN & ASSOCIATES, INC.:
The documents were sent out as soon as the request for the box of documents was received. The law firm was contacted, and the potential client was asked to only send copies, not originals. The law firm agreed to review the documents free of charge, which was done, but the firm did not take the case. The documents were kept safely and were available for the client to be picked up. No one came to pick up the box. As soon as we heard of the problem, the firm shipped the box to the client expeditiously. Maybe the messengers went to the wrong address as our office was open and the box ready to be picked up.

I sent a box of legal files to Shab Kerendian in april 2013. While he declined to take my case,(I know now that he never opened the box!) he said I would have to retrieve my files because "he couldn't afford the cost to ship them back to me".
I sent TWO commercial carriers to his office, neither one was able to pick up the files, one was told the person I had been instructed by Shab to contact for said files didn't work there, and the other was told there was nothing to pick up. I have filed a complaint with the State Bar who said ONE request for the return of files is standard, anything more is a violation.
I received an email from Shawn Kerendian saying thery were sending the files if I could identify the box....I did so with an email that he sent with a photo (which is how I know it was never opened) yet the files remain in his office. I have no idea what kind of work they actually do, in fact my first communication with them was very positive, but this hijacking of my legl files with original documents is not a great indication of their success.
