Complaint Review: Kevin Bidwell

Kevin Bidwell I paid $2,498USD for a mentor tutoring program for which has now been cancelled and I still have not received a refund as promised. ripoff Williamsburg Kentucky

I enrolled in Kevin Bidwell's coaching/mentoring program last year. I had high hopes and expectations based on everything I had heard. He seemed like a very nice fellow and the testimonials were glowing. The cost was $2,498USD which I paid in one up front payment.

At first, the classes/sessions were going well. Then there were cancellations of classes and inconsistent scheduling. The bottom line is that everything stopped and all of Kevin's contact numbers were either disconnected or being used by other parties.

In the beginning of December (2006) Kevin's wife sent me an email saying that Kevin could no longer keep up the program, which by this time (after several months) had gone from inconsistent to non-existant, due to serious illness (she got more specific but the details are not important), and that she'd be sending everybody a refund in 60 days.

When the 60 days was up I tried to contacting Kevin or the wife by email no response, tried all Kevin's other email sources no response I even sent letters no response, its been appromimately 210 days and I haven't heard a thing, and I can't contact them since all their numbers are either disconnected or have been reassigned, and my emails are either not getting through or they are being ignored. I'm getting the feeling I have been ripped-off. $2,498USD is a significant amount of money for which I expected something in return.
