I answered an add on ebay that came up while I was looking for an outboard motor so I filled out the form on their web site. After a few emails and phone calls to Kevin Chan I did a few checks and decided to buy a 225 hp Honda outboard from them. I sent the money and then received an email from EagleAir and Shipping stating that they had the motor, gave me a tracking number and said I had to pay $2500 for insurance to Kevin Chan.

I contacted him and he said that once the motor arrives that I then get the money back. I said that I was not paying it. After that I called him and he said that he is working something out and said he could get it through a freind for $1200. I said ok and then I received an invoice to pay to Malisa Suksanguan and once I paid this no communication and I think he blocked me on phone and emails as I cant get him.

ANOTHER VICTIM TOO MANY

Hello,

I am also a victim. My advice to you is this, report the matter to your local police.

Can you also publish the payee's account number and bank details on the internet. It is clear that the payee (Thasannee Sudthum) is working as part of the scam with Kevin Chan. They are more persons working with this scam, and they use different banks in Thailand for obvious reasons.

Try to get connected with as many victims as possible by reporting this on the internet on every site possible.

When we have many victims coming together, then we work out a strategy together. Believe me, they can be easily be caught but the victims must combine and work together. The sooner we do that, the better.

The shipping company is not a part of the scam. They send us tracking information to delay the process. When we realize that the tracking information is bogus, they would have already withdrawn the money and fled. I called the tracking company and they told me it is not their website. The same way they have a website boasting 17000 engines, they have also created a fake shipping website.

Other internet users need to be aware of the fact that they change conveniently the names of the websites. "Malisasuksanguan Outboards" is now "Outboard Motors Inc.

AT THIS POINT GETTING MY MONEY IS NOT A PRIORITY, SEEING KEVIN CHAN, MALISA SUKSANGUAN AND OTHERS PUT IN JAIL FOR A LONG TIME IS PRIORITY.

Many of the same scams are being run on "Alibaba" for example. Many people offer used outboard engines at very low discounted prices. As you approach them, they want to move away from  communicating on "Alibaba" and they also insist that payment be made by some insecure method like "T/T, Western Union. Of course, Alibaba advises its users to use "Alipay" as a safe payment method but the scammers have nothing to lose...............

I asked to pay by paypal but they didnt have it. It had nothing to do with ebay as it wasnt a listing but a pop up add.

That’s a result of not using PayPal and cutting eBay out of their commission.
