Scam Alert!
Kevin Gregory, operating as Solaris Metals, offered to manufacture and deliver temporary construction fence panels for me. After visiting his physical location, and seeing the sample he had on hand, I gave him a deposit of $1,000. He committed to delivering these no later than April 15th. After repeated messages and finally an offer to refund the deposit plus penalties by May 3rd, he also failed to live up to that commitment.
I originally searched the Better Business Bureau for information on this person, and nothing turned up either positive or negative. Turns out that nothing may be worse than a negative rating.
I subsequently found reports about Mr. Gregory on this site, Ripoff Report, where he has been reported multiple times.
As I have his physical address, and a written agreement, I intend to pursue this in small claims court.
Stay away.
P.S. He may be using an alias and may also go by Kevin Oickle, KGO Welding, and Halfmoon Kennels.
