My Husband and I were looking for our wedding bands back in Jan of 2010. We found two beautiful bands at Kevins Jewlers and were happy at first.

We had to send our rings out to be sized. When we got our rings back we found out that they had put the wrong ring in our bag and it was a females ring. The Sales guy argued with me telling me that it was my ring. I told him it was not and that I dont think my fiance would be happy. After finding out they had failed to order my fiances ring they put a rush order on it and it came in. FINALLY!!!

We got married in April and the day after our wedding we noticed that the plating on my ring was comming off. I was very upset having just gotten married and having to give my ring up less than three days after it being put on my finger. They sent the ring out a week  and a half later I finally got my ring back ( Which by the way the never called either time to tell me the rings were in.). It looked great.

Less than two months later, I find the same thing yet again. I was angry. My Husband went in to the store and told them what was going on. My Husband was getting ready to leave the country and I was not thrilled about having to give up my ring yet again. They told us we  had two options.

1. Return the ring for a refund. Which I didnt like since that was the ring he put on my finger.

or

2. When I was ready give them my ring and they will send it back to have different gold put on my ring and it would be re-dipped.

Well I finally did it and I still have no ring. I just called today and was told oh it wont be in until after 7. If this ring does not come back correctly I will be contacting a lawyer. I am tired of their shotty work.

I am so tired of being with out my wedding ring.

Been in the jewelry business for 27 years. They offered you your money back. You should have taken it and bought a ring some place else. It sounds to me like you will continue to have problems with the ring because they are probably platting it with white gold, IF it's a white gold ring. IF you still want to keep the ring, have them rhodium plate it. I have found that rhodium plate lasts MUCH longer then white gold plate and looks better too. Good luck.
