deposited $90 when the bank opened. Had a balance of -$20.82 at the time .got home checked my new balance and found out I now am-$32.21with a reoccurring debit amt. that wasn't there earlier. My $90 deposit is still pending and has not apparently made it into the acct. yet. This is just one of many times that they have overcharged double charged or just moved amts around so they can take overdraft charges.

The reason...

The reason they keep charging you overdraft fees is because of your failure to manage your account and continue to overdraft.

While you didn't write much, what you did write tells us quite a bit.

First of all you do not keep a written register.   As if you did, you would be writing down every transaction you made as you made it and would know your balance at any moment.  If you have auto-debits it is YOUR responsibility to know when they will be posted, and adjust your register accordingly.  The bank is not your mama..it is not there to make sure you don't spend more than you have.  If you want someone to do that hire an accountant, you can find several who will be glad to do this for only a few hundred dollars a month.

The bank's online/automated/atm systems were never meant to replace this written register.  As they only know what has been submitted to them.  So they did not have this additional auto-debit received until after you checked back later.  Had you kept a written register you would have known about it.

If you maintain a register it is just about impossible to overdraft as long as you don't intentionally spend more than you have available.  Where if you do intentionally spend more, that is 100% on you as well as any consequences from it.

Oh and you did mention about being double charged or overcharged.  If you have PROOF of that, then that is a bank issue. But nothing you have posted here shows that.  If your "overcharged" is because you think you should have only been charged 1 od fee and were charged more...that is again not an overcharge..it is your failure to manage your account.

Oh and don't bother with the "You must work for the bank", as I do not now or have I ever worked for any bank.  This advice is also the same exact advice I would give you regardless of the bank you wrote about.
