Complaint Review: Key Resource Group

Key Resource Group is located in Wichita, KS. The various individuals associated with this company are Ron Styles, Michael McNaul, Lee Robinson, Mark Dubois, Greg Krause. They have various projects involving oil and gas wells called Heartland#1, Heartland#2, Heartland#3.

In order to get me to invest in Heartland#2 project, Ron Styles told me that investors in Hearland#1 were already receiving checks from production in Heartland#1 that would return 50% per year to those investors. This information was untrue. The investors will probably receive less than 25% per year or even only 10% a year on their investment.

Ron Styles told me and other investors that the company owned all its own oil drilling rigs and equipment so that they would not have to depend on outside contractors. He told me that as soon as the project was sold out, that the 6 wells in Heartland#2 project would be drilled and completed at the rate of one per week. These statements were untrue.

The company did not own its own rigs to be able to drill all its wells. The first project took over a year because they could not drill and because they had to hire external drillers to complete the wells. Heartland#2 did not get drilled according to schedule because the company did not own its own rigs and there will be significant delays.

I have asked for a refund based upon recission and fraud in the inducement to enter contract. So far the company has refused to refund my money. They claim that Ron Styles was not authorized to make the statements upon which I based investment decisions. I have heard similar complaitns from other investors during the telephone conference calls.
