Keybank Corp - keybank National Association refuse to remove my name as co-signer to a fradulent Mortgage Cooperstown New York New York
In May of 03 I was in Fort Jackson, Basic training center in Columbia SC. The gentleman I was engaged to went and some how got a mortgage with my name as a co-signer. The date of the loan is the date I was already two weeks in Basic training in the Army there is no way I could have been in NY to sign or authorize the information. Also you need to sign papers in the presence of a Notary Republic to make it official. Needless to say I was not aware of this at all during my whole time I was in the military. After being honorably discharged, I also ended said relationship with the individual to only find out to my horror the issue concerning the mortgage. I contact Keybank Corp Headquarters in Washigton DC. They issued a copy of the mortgage my name and signature is not on ANY document only the other individual but on my credit report I am listed as a co-signer. I have been fighting this for 3yrs and my credit has been ruined. I cant buy a car, buy my own home, nor get a student loan to finish my education. The other person (my ex) has also without my knowledge refinanced the mortgage and is now about to claim bankrupcy. Please ,Please, is their no way I can be helped?
