In July 2017 I attended an online webinar after receiving an inviation via email. The webinar presented an opportunity to purchase textbooks online and sell them for a proffit.  They demonstrated their software and showed a number of searches on Amazon showing hundreds of dollars of opportunities. I was impressed.  I did some research and decided to invest $995 in the program.  There was a double money back guarantee so I thought there was little to lose.

As soon as I installed the software I was stunned.  Amazed.  None of the opportunities were available.  Zero.  But 2 days earlier there were opportunities everywhere with the potential to make hundreds of dollars daily.I kept searching for days and found zero deals worth pursuing. It didn't help that the software was not functioning as shown in the webinar.

I contacted support and was advised that the software had not been working for days before the webinar.  How could that be?mI discovered that the "LIVE" webinar that I attended was recorded 10 months earlier. The company presented a 10 month old webinar as being live.  They made no effort to say that it was recorded and every effort to have attendees think that it was live.  I was even typing questions in the chat box (idiot). They deliberately mislead me and any other attendees.

If they had shown a live webinar the product would look like crap and no sane person would not buy the program. They made no effort to tell me that the software was not working when I purchased the program. I requested a refund based on misleading advertising and delivery of a faulty product.  They refused. This would have to go down as the worst case of dishonesty EVER on the internet.

They are prepared to lie in their sales presentation and then deliver a faulty product. Don't waste your money on Textbook Money.  It's a SCAM.  Don't buy anything from Sample or Shugart as they have no interest in their customers other than take their money from them. Furtunately my Credit Card provider could see that I was scammed and provided a refund.

Just today, July 11/2020 I too sat for an hour long webinar, which by the way I also noted was outdated, I only wondered how old it was.

A Thank you and my condolences to the person who posted this report...it saved me a lot of money.

The company is apparently still operating as booktrades at booktrades.biz

Since the government no longer has the consumer's best interest at heart, we are grateful for this type of channel where crooks can be exposed for the slimy creatures they are.

I myself lost $995 to a false advertisement re.30 day money back...no questions asked by JT Franco who still sells Amazon Empire Academy.
