Complaint Review: Kian Hafezi

We're a small, poor women's cooperativa in Guatemala - nonprofit social development. We really do not want to file this rip off report - but it seems to be our only option at this point.

Last year ‎Kian Hafezi reserved our treehouse on AirBnB.com and we asked if he could help bring us some things we had waiting in the US – specifically, cycling gear we had bought on eBay for our Good Bikes Volunteer Project.

Kain Hafezi accepted and we shipped him the gear.

Kian Hafezi never arrived nor did he contact us to tell us he would not be coming.

We contacted the Chapel Hill Police Department who called Kian. Kian told CHPD he would send our gear the following week, that was four months ago.

AirBnB refused to help us - told us to take him to small claims court - impossible from Guatemala.

Kian Hafezi still has the $200 in cycling gear we sent him to bring down to Guatemala. Kian Hafezi refuses to communicate with us or return our gear. Kian Hafezi has stolen our stuff.

Please contact ‎Kian Hafezi facebook.com/KianHfz and ask him to do the right thing and work with us to forward the gear to another incoming US-based traveler/volunteer headed down to stay with us here in Guatemala.
