Complaint Review: KIDS

I am writing to report Kids.Com. I did not know until recently that I got scammed.

I went to an "open call" for another place called Aquarian Associates. My daughter was selected for their "call-back". Upon going to the meeting, (where no kids were allowed), I started getting a feeling of deja-vu. It sounded like the same scam that Kids.com gave me. My daughter HAS gotten ONCE call in 4 years. They said it was for Gerber, and this was only after she was on their "website" for 3 days...so I was thrilled. My daughter was 5 months old at the time, and couldn't drink out of a cup alone, so we couldn't secure the job. I did this for my daughter's college savings. The $595.00 we paid (plus the repeated $15.00 sitting fees every 6 months!) really hurt us at the time. We make only $29,000 a year for a family of 4. I thought it would be a good way to "invest" for her.

I am glad the 5 years is almost up....I am NOT renewing. I also asked how they got my name is the first place, and they would never tell me-they said that was "private" info.

They wanted my youngest daughter too. Thank God I said no. Anyone who wants tons of $$$$ up front is a SCAM ARTIST!!! I found out who Aquarian was by researching on the net. I only wish I had done the same with this. Anyone who wants to help me get my $595.00 back-I'm all ears!
