Something must be done about this crazy company. After my first son was born my husband and I received a letter in the mail stating that our child was brought to their (Kids.com) attention and that we should make an appointment to consider modeling for him. Of course being a mother, I thought my child was the cutest and thought it would be a good idea.

We went and met with David Laurino in the Illinois branch on May 11, 2002. The office seemed a little run down (this should have been my first hint) However, there were pictures of child advertisements all over the walls. David seemed to talk very quick and was frankly, very intimidating. My husband and I never did anything like this so we didn't know how vulnerable we were. We didn't know what to look for and not to look for or what kind of questions to ask. After David gave us his B.S. lines he told us he thought our son would be a great candidate and that it would cost $595. We explained that we wanted to think about it before we spent so much money and he stated that "Either it's now or never." So we innocently signed a contract not knowing how screwed we were. We had to take my son to a place called Triangle Camera (3445 N Broadway, Chicago IL)for his pictures and each time had to pay a sitting fee of $20.00. What a crock. I wasn't even able to take part in selecting which picture was put online. As a matter of fact, I haven't taken my son since he was 11 months (now he's almost 4 years old)and they still have his picture on line. We have to shut these people down!!!!!!
