Watch out for newspapers' kids that come by asking for money so they can earn points for college. I suspect they are using this tactic to sell SUBSCRIPTIONS to unexpected victims. I just gave a kid $10 and after the fact, I realized he gave me a RECEIPT for a subscription. BEWARE OF KIDS TRYING TO SELL SUBSCRIPTIONS TO THE SAN JOSE MERCURY!!! It's a scam tactic!
