The business was sold and my consignment items were given to the new owner. I was told that a check would be issued on 9/1/07 for items that sold prior to the business changing ownership and I have yet to receive payment despite several attempts. Also, I picked up my consignment items and several were missing. The contract states that I will be reimbursed for lost/damaged items. Once again despite several attempts I can neither collect my missing items nor reimbursement. I have given the new owner her requested amount of time to locate and deliver my items and it has not been done. Also, I was given another consigners items. They apparently do not have a reliable tacking method if they are giving the wrong merchandise to the wrong consigners.

The contract that I signed with the original owner states under section 4 "LIABILITY: Kidz Treasurez assumes all liability for the loss, damage to, or destruction of any item consigned according to fair market value." The previous owner will not respond to my calls, emails or attempts from the Better Business Bureau. She will not update me on the status of the check that should have been received, nor what specific items the check was for so I can determine what is missing. She indicated that she sent a check and I must have been like the other consigners that threw it away. She told me that she would have a new check issued. She has failed to issue a new check or provide me with any documentation that a check was ever issued.
