Complaint Review: Kim Shira @ Coedwig Cardigan

We had talked to Kim Shira at Coedwig Cardigan Corgis late last year about getting one of her corgi puppies. She told us that she was expecting a couple of litters in the next month or so and made us feel very comfortable. She explained that she picks the puppy but guarantees that we would be happy with him, and if for whatever reason we aren’t we can always move our deposit to another litter.

I went on to explain my lifestyle and the things I have done with my dog so she would have a better idea of what we are looking for. A couple emails later, she doesn’t even remember who I am and thought I was someone completely different. After her dog gave birth, she picked the puppy for us. She knew nothing of the puppies personalities or what they would look like when they were grown.

I called her after I noticed that his fur and personality weren’t what we were looking for, she instantly became offended, wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise, and hung up on me. When I asked for my money back, since she wasn’t willing to work with me, she outright refused and told me "verbal contracts are binding in court.” So her "guarantees” mean nothing and she stole our money by refusing to work with us.
