King Publishing Marlee Parsons Scammed me for about $2000!
This Rat usually goes by the name of Marlee Parsons... claims he works with his brother. He is very good at pulling off this scam!! He has a very trusting, & knowledgable voice... He recently claimed to live in Cyprus, but he's originally from the UK, so he has a strong British accent! You want to believe in him! After that vulture got my money, I caught him in lie after lie... he will promise to work PR for you, and get your work published in mainstream magazines... and he seems to have a wee bit of success with tabloid fodder... but he ultimately lies, and lies, and lies, and lies... and he can't even deliver in the timeframe he says he will, if even at all!
He will often contact you at the last minute with a bunch of busy work. And as I am a photographer, he was constantly claiming he needed to interview my models himself... but whenever I partook/listened to the interviews, they were easily questions he could have emailed! DO NOT TRUST THAT RODENT FOR A SECOND! He is not worth risking $5! He secretly owns a couple small web publishing sites, he will publish the models there, to make it seem like your money is actually working for you...
This guy is a classic Scam artist that preys on those that trust him... Ask him for verifiable references in the last 30-90 days... Since he "claims" to do this soooo much... he should have recent photographers and models he has got published. Sadly he is full of it! And I gave him about $2000 and never saw even one picture I did for him published in a "mainstream" magazine!!... I'd LOVE to run into him on the street!
At one point he told me he caught food poisoning while traveling and was in the hospital for a couple weeks.... then a few weeks after that his aunt died, then a few weeks after that his mum died! And these were the "so-called" reasons he wasn't performing after I gave him MY money! What a fraud?!!!
