King's CJD advertised an online price that included a dealer's discount (the key word to remember here is that it says 'Discount'.)  When I went to purchase that car, there were incentives or rebates that I thought I was entitled to after the dealer's discount.  The web page read MSRP...$xx, Dealer's Discount...$xx, Adjusted Price..$xx.

When I told them I would buy the car for the 'Adjusted Price' and I would like to take advantage of a $4000 rebate as well as trade in my current vehicle, I was told that the 'Dealer's Discount' was a rebate and that I couldn't have the adjusted price plus the rebate.

When I pointed out their mistake and what it said online, the new car manager, John, was very appologetic and stated several times that the online 'Adjusted Price' was a mistake and that it should have never been put out online.  He then even asked me how I would word it and fix the mistake.  I requested that the dealer honor their mistake, and the new car manager gave me all kinds of run around as to why they wouldn't and even got fairly upset with me when I stated, "I have it here in black and white!  You have to honor it."

I then proceeded on to talk to the GM, Mark Pittman.  Thinking that an owner would be more sympathetic to the mistake made and realize he would have to honor what he had printed.  Instead, he refused to give me the price, stating that everyone knows that 'Dealer Discount' is equal to rebate!!  When I said I didn't know that.  Rebate and Discount have totally different meanings according to the dictionary.  I kindly asked him once again to buy the car at the 'Dealer's Discount' and I would like the rebate.  He then told me that he would be losing thousands of dallars and that I should go somewhere else.

King's falsely advertised a price and then would not own up to it and give me the benefit of the doubt.  To that I say, boo on you King's CJD and Mark Pittman!
