I am having difficulty getting a refund for a trailer I ordered but was never delivered by Chris Singletary from Douglas, Georgia doing business online as Kingdom Trailers.

In late October 2012, I ordered a custom built cargo trailer from Kingdom Trailers after an online search and pricing review.  That trailer was ready for pickup in early November as promised when I took delivery. Unfortunately, that trailer was destroyed during a wind storm in route to our destination.  In late December, after I received the insurance settlement, I ordered a replacement trailer again from Kingdom Trailers and followed that order with a deposit check of $600.00 written on 26 December 2012.  I was told to expect a completion date of 31 January 2013.

That date passed without contact from Chris Singletary.  After several unanswered email and voice mail messages, I finally reached him and was told to now expect delivery the within a couple of weeks.  Again, that date passed with no notice emails and voice mail messages went unanswered.  When I was finally did make contact after psycho-calling Chris's personal phone (912-850-8888), he pushed the delivery date to mid-February, and that later slipped to the end of the month.  In early March after a number of unanswered emails, calls and voice-mail messages I finally made contact with Chris after disabling my outbound Caller ID.  At that time, I  was told they were setting up a new manufacturing facility and since I was so patient, they would build my new trailer as a high-end Pro Series top quality trailer. He said they had supposedly built my frame, so I was finally encouraged (but skeptical)  that it really would be delivered within a couple of weeks.

Finally, on 10 April , 2013, after another series of unanswered emails and calls, I sent an email cancelling the order and demanded the return of my deposit.  I immediately received a reply from someone (the email was unsigned) saying they would cancel the order and have their CPA send the refund within a week.  The next day, I asked to be placed in direct contact with the CPA, but was told via another unsigned email the check already cut.  As expected, that refund never arrived and subsequent emails regarding it have gone unanswered.

I was satisfied with the first trailer I bought from Chris Singletary, but the frustrations and complete lack of professionalism during the second process demonstrates that Kingdom Trailers and Chris Singletary cannot be trusted despite the claim on his website that the business is based on the values of Christianity.  DON'T BELIEVE IT!!!
