Complaint Review: Kingston Enterprises

Hole in the wall on a back road. I went to order a 'home stand by generator'. I thought that I would 'give the little guy some business' unstaed of a 'big box store'.  Told him EXACTLY what generator I wanted. He had same make in 'showroom' (actually, a 's***-room') but bigger than I wanted. He told me he 'would get the one I wanted".  I put down $1,000  Next day he called me up to "take a look at another one I have". I went, completely differnt tyrpe, shape, model, manufacturer from what I wanted.  he said, "I'll give you a 'real deal' on it.  No deal was 'real' for something I did not want.  SAME thing, 2 days later. Another different, make, style, model, size.  Two days later, I come home and he has set the WRONG ONE on the concrete pad I built for the generator.  He tried to make me keep that one and said: "The ones you get from Home Depot are a cheaperly made version of the ones Generac send me.  I went home called Genrac and asked them. They said, "We do not make two versions of our products, ALL the same.  I had the generator removed, by him. Wanted my money back. Had to go there 4 times to get it. The first 3, I had 'appointments' to meet him. The last one, I showed up 'unannouced.  The place is a s***hole.  Old man running the show who is "beyond his prime".
