I decideded to build a new PC since mine was running XP. I purchesed a barebones kit from Tiger Direct   It featured a rebate on the kit for the 4g of Kingston memory. Plus I ordered a second stick of 4g since 2 rebates where aloud per household. I watched the video on how to properly claim my rebate. Everything was turned in right away along with the original reciept and upc labels just as they specified.  I now get a comformation in the mail thanking me for Particapating in the Tiger Direct Rebate Program.

Unfortunatly we could not honor your request due to the following reason, Invaled Purches Date. Really I bought it during the promotion period and sent it in with 6 weeks to spare.

The $50 in rebates was a major part of my decision to buy the combo from Tiger Direct. Little did I know it was just a Scam to boost sales for Tiger & help Kingston clean out their wharehouse.

I purchesed  the purduct within the promotion period but they claim my purchase date was invalid. I'm out $50 due to internet FRAUD! Contacting the Iowa Attorney General about this scam.
