I paid them for 7 nights back in March 2002. I was sent a receipt letter with no date, a check-in coupon book for 7 nights that I was told is good for any hotel. I later found out this was a lie, and a beautiful brochure of the hotel services including fitness ctr, beauty salon/massage parlor, large heated swimming pool, restaurant and lounge, American/Caribbean cuisine, live music, game room, child care, microwave, refridgerator, close to Disney, shuttle buses to the theme parks, and to and from the airport.

When I called this year to make reservations for my family, I was told that they are doing renovations and will put us in a hotel with the same services. When I got to the Econolodge all it had was a swimming pool in the back, it did not come close to the Kingstonian brochure and all the things they said would be offered. I called Michael, the manager of Kingstonian, to switch us to a better hotel but I was told that all the hotels were booked. After days of conflicts he told me I could go to the Ramada but it was further away from the theme parks and did not provide shuttle buses.

I was stuck because I could not afford to rent a car. I called Michael and he told me I need to figure it out myself and hung up on me. My family vacation was ruined, as we were thrown out of Econolodge because we demanded from them a refund and the Sheriff was called. Michael had told me he paid Econolodge for us to stay there, but later I found out that this was a lie. Also I met some other folks in New York that booked the Kingstonian, and last year when they tried to use there reservations they were told the same thing, that it was under renovations.

I believe when the hotel is fully booked they tell people they are under renovations and stick them in a dump. I had to pay more money for another hotel, my cell phone bill went up, and I had to pay for transportation. We dragged our luggages all over. My family was humiliated and it was the worst vacation we ever had.

File Small Claim Against Kingstonian Hotel

#5Author of original report

Fri, August 06, 2004

I contacted the County Court in Osceola County and filed a small claim against the Hotel. We are suppose to have a telephonic hearing August 16th being that I live in Manhattan, New York. You have to file it against the registered agent and his contact info is Kingstonian Hotel, C/O Gary Cadeno, R/A 6065 NW 167th Street B3, Miami Fl. 32015.

My contact person in the court is Esther and her number is 407-343-3484. The address is Summary Office of the Clerk's Office, 2 Courthouse Square, Kissimee, Florida 34741. You can call her and ask her how to file. Use my case # as reference CC04-SP-0224. They never appeared in court when they were suppose to so I continued to file until they got a lawyer to represent them. His name is Andres Montejo and his number is 305-817-3677. He called me at work one day to intimidate me to settle for less but I was not having it, then he said he would pay me in increments but when I asked for a letter to cover myself regarding that agreement, he never send it like he said he would. He also told me that they either sold the hotel or is about to sell it.

You should definitely fight them. If you need any more info please feel free to contact me. My email address is zenobia_cummings@yahoo.com

I purchased 2 weeks of the vacation package that had been advertised in the New York Daily News. The add stated that there is a seven night stay at the lovely Kingstonian Hotel & Resorts for $279 per week that is good for three years. I finaly would like to use sed vacation. Only to find out that the contact numbers are either out of order, or the 800 number provided has been reassigned to a pharmasutical company. I am very disappointed and now must find other arrangements for my family's vacation plans.

My family is very disappointed that we might not be able to go to Florida and it is disapointing that there is no way to contact these people for reimbursement.

I'll try to help you but I need some info

I can try to help you but need some info. What is the name of the company you were dealing with. I will need as much info as possible. Sounds like Michael is what we call a receptive operator. Somebody who works with a number of hotels selling rooms for them. While he gets his money up front, the hotel does not bill him until after you have left. I have been in Orlando for a number of yeard and have not heard of this hotel so whatever info you can supply will help me help you. Post your info below.
