Complaint Review: Kingsway Associates

I had several options of which to collect this loan. The first option was to have a cosigner. The other options all involved some sort of payment. Since I did not have any money, I chose to go with the cosigner option. Over that weekend, I contacted my brother, George Muench, to explain my situation and to request his being the cosigner of this "loan". He agreed and gave me his social security number as well as his place of employment.

I then relayed this information to Ms. Stevenson at Kingsway via email on Tuesday, Sept. 14th. I waited a few days after that to make sure that Ms. Stevenson had ample time to go over this info and to get back to me. It was at this time that I began to call Ms. Stevenson virtually daily. The first time I called I got through and Ms. Stevenson assured me that the funds would still be released to me, but that sometimes these sort of things took more time to gather all the proper information.

Well, not satisfied, I have been calling Ms. Stevenson as well as the help number on their website, in addition to sending emails. However, all correspondence has not been replied to so I took it upon myself today to do some research on this company. It was at this time that I learned that this company has been reported to the FTC for being a fraudulent company and scam artists. I immediately filed a complaint with the FTC and I am doing the same with you right now.

These people lied to me, they took my brother's social security number, and I pray to God that they have not done anything with this information as of yet. I hope that there is a way you, at the BBB, can stop them before they try
