Complaint Review: KINGSWAYS ASSOCIATES

A few weeks ago, I too applied for a loan from kingsway. A few days later Thay called and said I was approved for a $5,000 loan. I needed either a co-signer who made at least $45,000 a year or wire $800 to their insurance broker. Well, I ended up wiring the money Western Union to Burnam and Thorpe. A few days later I called my agent whose name is Rebecca Goldburg because the money still hadent been wired into my account and she told me there had been an error in processing and I needed to send $200 more or get a refund. But this time she kept stressing that it should be sent by money gram since a Western Union was so far away from them.

I went ahead and try to money gram the $200 but thank goodness money gram would not allow the money to be picked up on the other side. So at least I was able to get that $200 back. I don't understand why Western Union is not doing the same thing. They too have had complaints about money going into Canada. Needless to say, I never received my money or my refund. I have also reported them to the BBB and BBB of Canada and the FTC.
